Project Management Institute (PMI) (www.pmi.org). The fastest-growing professional society on the planet. PMI has a Construction Industry Community of Practice, but as the name indicates, it is focused on construction more than on design. PRINCE2 (prince2.com); a worldwide organisation built on the British project management approach, and spun off the U.K. government as a private organization.
